The next meeting of the Ajax Garden Club is scheduled for this coming Thursday, July 20th at the Ajax Legion Hall, 111 Hunt St. Doors will open at 6:45, the meeting will start promptly at 7:30. If you have items to show please be sure they are in place as soon after 7pm as possible. Judging is to begin at 7:15 sharp.
Our Guest Speaker will be the inimitable Matthew Dressing, and he will be talking to us about “Water Features in the Garden”.
Refreshments will be offered as usual, although we are still trying to come up with a typically horticultural sort of celebration before the summer is over.

Division I – HORTICULTURAL
Section A – Perennials, Roses, Clematis
Class:
1. Any Perennial (excl. named below) – 3 stems or sprays
2. Clematis – 1 stem, any colour
3. Daylily – 1 scape, no foliage
4. Holey Hosta – leaf with the most bites or holes
5. Hosta Collection – 3 cultivars, 1 stem per cultivar
6. Lily – 1 scape
7. Peony – 1 bloom, any colour
8. Rose – 1 spray or bloom
9. Rose, grown for fragrance – 1 bloom
