Our topic this month is “Putting Your Garden to Bed” and will have a panel discussion and question period.
Division I – HORTICULTURAL
1. Chrysanthemum – 1 spray, any cultivar.
2. Dahlia (Small) – 1 bloom, any cultivar.
3. Dahlia (Large) – 1 bloom, any cultivar.
4. Hydrangea – 1 bloom, any cultivar.
5. Perennial Ornamental Grass – 2 stems of 1 cultivar.
6. Rose – 1 bloom or spray, any variety.
7. Sedum – 1 stem.
8. Any other flowering annual or perennial excluding above named) – 1 specimen / stem.
9. Any shrub showing fall colours – 1 specimen, 1 stem or branch not to exceed 24″.
10. Seeded stem – 1 stem, max length 18, in container with no water.
Division II – DESIGN – THEME: “Harvest Time”
11. Feast for the Eyes – harvest-themed centrepiece, using vegetables and fruits.
12. Gone to Seed – faded beauty from the garden.
13. Orange design – pumpkin or Halloween design.
14. Anything made with apples.
15. Anything made with pumpkin.
